Java SE 7 1.7.0_76 now available!

 

Java SE 7 1.7.0_76 is now available for Virtual Cloud Servers and VMs with CentOS 6 (ISPmanager)
 
 
 
Java SE 7 1.7.0_76 is a bug fix and security release, no new features have been added. Due to security issues, SSLv3 is now disabled by default in Java SE 7 1.7.0_76 and all subsequent Java SE 7 releases. 
 
 
Additional Fixes:

 

  • Fix for ProcessBuilder leaking memory
  • Fix for JWS not being authenticated using kerberos
  • Fixed corrupt attribute value for XML parser

Tomcat 6.0.43 is a bug fix and security release, no new features have been added. 
 
 
Fixes: 

 

  • Timestamps now use 24-hour format and UTC
  • Added TLS v1.1 and v1.2 support for APR connector
  • Disabled SSLv3 by default (for POODLE vulnerability)

PostgreSQL 9.4 is now available for Virtual Cloud Servers
and VMs with CentOS 6 (ISPmanager)
 
 
 
PostgreSQL 9.4 is a major release of the PostgreSQL database server, introducing significant new features and enhancements. 
 
 
Highlighted Features:
 
  • Added jsonb, a more efficient data type for storing JSON data
  • Added new SQL command ALTER SYSTEM for changing postgresql.conf configuration file entries
  • Reduced lock strength for some ALTER TABLE commands
 
Fixes:
 
  • Improvements to the default ssl_ciphers setting
  • The log_connections now shows the SSL encryption information
  • Increased the default settings of work_mem and maintenance_work_mem by four times (to 4 MB and 64 MB respectively)

Because PostgreSQL 9.4 is a major release, we encourage you to take a backup of your databases, applications, configurations and any tuning changes you have made, before upgrading from a previous version.
