Upgrade/Downgrade the Resources for your Virtual Server

Applicable Plans - All Cloud Hosting PlansUpgrading or Downgrading the Resources for your Virtual ServerOverviewFrom the Customer Portal, you can upgrade or downgrade the resources allocated to your Virtual Server. Which resources are available to change varies by which hosting platform you are using: Virtual Cloud Server or Virtual Machine in the Cloud. Virtual Cloud Server Hosting Platform Virtual Cloud Server Hosting PlatformWith the Virtual Cloud Server Hosting Platform you can adjust the RAM, CPU (cores), Primary Disk (GB), IP Addresses, and Internal IPs.
Upgrading or Downgrading the available resources for your Virtual Cloud Server in the Customer PortalTo upgrade or downgrade the resources for your Virtual Server, log in to the Customer Portal at http://portal.eapps.com. Click on My Cloud, and then the Virtual Servers link, and then click on the View link for the Virtual Server you wish to change the resources for - the small magnifying glass icon to the right of the Virtual Server listing. On the Product Details screen, click on the green Upgrade/Downgrade Options button at the top or bottom of the screen. This takes you to a screen where you can move sliders back and forth to change your resource allocations. Remember that making changes here will affect the amount of money that you pay for your service. The Resources column shows the resources available to upgrade or downgrade, the Customize column shows the sliders that allow you to change the values for the Resources, the Existing column shows the current values for the resources on your Virtual Server, and the New column will show the new values you have chosen for the resources. The Change column will show you the adjusted price for the new resource allocations. ![]() Upgrade/Downgrade
If you want to set the values back to their previous settings and start over, click on Reset to Existing Values. Once you have made your choices for changing the resources on your Virtual Server, click on Click to Continue >>. This will take you to a screen where you can confirm the order and select your Payment Method. Note that the Price may vary depending on where you are in your billing cycle, because the cost is pro-rated. Once you have selected your Payment Method, click on Click to Continue >>. After the order has been processed, you will receive two e-mails from eApps Hosting: a Payment Confirmation and a Customer Invoice, and you will be taken to an Order Confirmation screen. You can then navigate back to the Virtual Server, and your new resources should be available to you. Virtual Machine in the Cloud Hosting PlatformYou can increase or decrease your RAM, the number of CPU Shares you can use, the size of your Primary Disk, the amount of Data Transfer you are allowed, the Port Speed of your network interface, and how many IP Addresses you have.
