Policy - Cancellation

For most eApps subscription based services you may cancel your subscription within 30 days of the initial purchase, and receive a full refund. Virtual Machine, Virtual Server and VPS services and most "add-on" subscription services such as monitoring, backups, and Priority Support are also eligible for the 30 day refund.

To receive a refund under this policy you must cancel your subscription using your Control Panel within 30 days. After the initial 30 day period, all purchases are final. There is no refund for unused service. You are also responsible for any service fees related to billable technical assistance and any products or services that are specifically excluded below.

If you let your subscription expire without notifying us of your intent to cancel service, eApps is not obligated to provide technical support and reserves the right to refuse service in the future.

 

Virtual Server (VS) and Virtual Machine in the Cloud (VM) subscriptions:

If you want to cancel your subscription, you have a responsibility to cancel your service using the following procedure:

  • Log in to the eApps Portal at https://portal.eapps.com
  • Click on Services in the top navigation bar
  • Click on the magnifying glass icon to the right of the service you wish to cancel
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on Request Cancellation 
  • Provide a brief reason for cancellation, and then choose either Immediate or End of Billing Period as the Cancellation Type
  • Click on Request Cancellation to complete the process

 

VPS subscriptions:

If you want to cancel your subscription, you have a responsibility to cancel your service using the following procedure:

  • Login to your Control Panel at http://cp.eapps.com/cp
  • Click on the My Account tab
  • Click on the Subscriptions icon
  • Select the Subscription you want to cancel and click on it
  • On the right hand side is a link called Request Termination, click the link
  • Enter the Effective Date of cancelation and your reason for termination.  If your effective date is within 30 days, you can request your refund in the reason for termination description

 

Services that are excluded from the eApps 30 day money back guarantee:

  • Dedicated server/equipment customers are bound by the terms of their hosting agreement, which includes a clause for early cancellation. If you need assistance with your Dedicated Server or other equipment contract please contact eApps Sales
  • Platform as a Service (PaaS) customers are eligible for a free 14 day trial of the service and are not entitled to a refund for any payments for PaaS services after the completion of the free trial.
  • Domain names, SSL certificates, CDN and software licenses in most cases are not refundable as these are provided by third parties through eApps. Contact eApps Sales for clarification on the refund policy for third party provided products and services.
  • eApps Professional Services fees are not eligible for the 30 day refund. Please check the terms of the agreement on services provided regarding whether some or all of the fees for professional services.
